Will people on my call see the Stinger prompter?
Stinger asks macOS to exclude its panel from capture. Run Ghost Check, then inspect the actual output of the meeting or recording app and sharing mode you use.
How do I check before a call?
Turn Demo Mode off, then run Ghost Check in Stinger. Next, make a short recording or inspect the share on a second device using the app and sharing mode planned for your call. Repeat the test after changing settings, displays, apps, or macOS.
Does Ghost Check certify Zoom, Teams, or my recorder?
No. A capture result describes the path tested. It does not certify every app or sharing mode. If the panel appears, stop sharing and change the setup before your call. See Check your setup for the checklist and source documentation.
Why does Demo Mode show the panel?
Demo Mode intentionally makes the panel visible so you can demonstrate Stinger. Turn it off for ordinary prompting; it resets when you quit the app.
Where can I get help?
Contact Stinger support with your Stinger version, macOS version, calling or recording app, and sharing mode. Do not include private scripts or recordings unless needed to explain the problem.
