How do I set microphone sensitivity in Stinger?
Go to Settings › Voice & Track, switch to Voice or Track mode, and talk at your recording level while watching the Level bar. It should turn green when you speak and drop when you stop — adjust sensitivity until it does.
What if the level bar stays green even in silence?
Lower the sensitivity. A bar that won't drop means the mic is picking up too much ambient noise or the threshold is set too high.
What if the level bar doesn't light up while I'm talking?
Raise the sensitivity or move the microphone closer to your mouth. The bar should turn green reliably while you speak at your normal recording level.
Is there a starting point for sensitivity?
Yes. The set-up assistant reads one sentence from you and sets a starting sensitivity value based on that. You can refine it anytime in Settings › Voice & Track.
