Can I control Stinger from my phone or iPad?
Yes. Open Prompter › Phone Remote, scan the QR code on any phone or tablet on the same Wi‑Fi, and you get play/pause, section jumps, speed control and line nudges from the same network.
How do I set up the phone remote?
Press ⌘⇧R or choose Prompter › Phone Remote to open the remote panel on your Mac. A QR code appears; scan it with any phone or iPad on the same Wi‑Fi network. The page loads in the browser and shows the current line large, the next lines below, and buttons for play/pause, restart, sections, speed and line nudges. No app to install; the link only works on your network and changes every time Stinger starts.
The phone won't load the remote page. What do I check?
The phone must be on the same Wi‑Fi network as the Mac — not cellular, not a guest network. The Prompter › Phone Remote window lists every address the Mac has; try the others if the first one fails. Check that nothing else is using the port (Stinger picks another automatically and shows it in the window).
