What permissions does Stinger ask for?
Stinger asks for microphone, speech recognition, camera, and screen recording — only when you use the features that need them. Auto mode needs none of them.
Which features need which permissions?
- Microphone — Voice and Track modes (level and words). Not recorded.
- Speech Recognition — Track mode. On-device only.
- Camera — Lens Check only.
- Screen Recording — Ghost Check only, to show you your own capture.
Can I change these permissions later?
Yes. Change any of them in System Settings › Privacy & Security. If you decline a permission, Stinger's menu shows Open Privacy Settings so you can turn it back on.
