How do I import a script into Stinger?
Use File › Import Script… (⌘I), or drag files directly onto the prompter panel or Scripts window. Stinger accepts .txt, .md, .docx, .pdf (text PDFs only), and .rtf files.
What happens to the text when I import?
Word paragraphs become paragraphs in Stinger; tabs are converted to spaces. Scripts are stored as plain Markdown files in ~/Library/Application Support/Stinger/Scripts/ so you can edit them with any app — Stinger watches the folder and picks up changes automatically.
Which file types does Stinger support?
Stinger imports .txt, .md, .docx, .pdf, and .rtf files. PDFs must be text-based (not scans); image-based PDFs won't convert.
Can I edit imported scripts after importing them?
Yes. Scripts live in ~/Library/Application Support/Stinger/Scripts/ as plain files. Edit them in the built-in editor, your text editor, or any word processor — Stinger notices the changes and reloads them automatically.
