How do I get the best results from Stinger's Track mode?
Train Track mode first by reading a sentence in setup so it learns your pace and microphone level. Add any names, brands, or unusual words to the recognizer before you start so it hears them correctly.
What happens when I ad-lib or restart a sentence?
Track mode only moves when the words you're saying match the script. If you ad-lib, it stays where it is; when you come back to the script, it catches up. Re-reading a sentence pulls the lit line back to it.
If nothing matches for a couple of seconds while you're still talking, the script creeps forward at your pace—but never more than a line past where it last heard you.
What happens at paragraph breaks?
Pause at the end of a paragraph and the next paragraph comes up to the lit band, ready for you to read.
How do I add words the recognizer should know?
Before you press play, add names, brands, and unusual words (like 'Saltwater' or 'Wrack') to Track mode's word list so it hears them as written, not as a close match.
