Floating the prompter and using two screens
Drag the panel (or **Prompter › Float Prompter**) to detach it from the notch. It becomes a rounded card with play/pause top-left and a ↖ button top-right that reattaches it (also ⌘⇧N). Resize from any edge in either mode; attached, the new size becomes the default. It stays on top of every app and Space and remembers its position across launches. Move it under an external webcam if that's the camera you use.
