How do I move the prompter away from the notch?
Drag the panel or use Prompter › Float Prompter to detach it from the notch. It becomes a rounded card you can move anywhere on any screen and resize from any edge.
What happens when I float the prompter?
The panel detaches and becomes a rounded card with play/pause top-left and a ↖ button top-right. Press the ↖ button (or ⌘⇧N) to reattach it to the notch. It stays on top of every app and Space and remembers its position across launches.
When would I want to float it?
Float the panel under an external webcam if that's the camera you use instead of the built-in one. You can also resize it from any edge in either mode — when attached, the new size becomes the default.
